Queen Mikael, who hails from Seattle and stands a regal 5'9", has light brown hair, green eyes, and a quick smile. As she looked over her subjects, she commented, "This is probably the first time you've had a giant for a Queen." She was crowned by football team captain Bruce Delbridge, and presented with the traditional red roses and velvet robe by Associated Students President Blair Paul. "I just floated across the stage, she recalled later. "It all happened so fast, so unexpectedly. ROYALTY RECEPTION Immediately following the coronation, Queen Mikael presided at the Royalty Reception in the Viking Commons, wearing her black velveteen and white brocade formal. ' I 'd like to call my Mom and Dad," she said, "I'm so happy." . Senior Princess Ingrid, also from Seattle, pronounced all of Homecoming Week "just great." The grey-eyed blond is 5'6", and was wearing a salmon-pink peau de soie gown. "I am happy," she said at the reception, "but I'd be just as glad if one of the other girls had won." TEARFUL PRINCESS Representing the junior class is Princess Terry, from Honolulu, Hawaii. At the announcement of her victory, she was nearly overcome with tears. "What is least epected is most appreciated," she commented. The brown-eyed brunette gave her friends all the credit for her success. She beamed at the audience and thanked-everyone as she accepted the red rose each of the princesses received. The 5'6" beauty has black hear and brown eyes.
