Washington Women's History Consortium

Digital Images at the Center for Pacific Northwest Studies

Created in partnership with the Washington Women's History Consortium, this digital image collection contains copies of select photographs and manuscript materials pertaining to the history of women in Washington State. These digital resources are drawn from a number of different collections at the Center for Pacific Northwest Studies.

Located in the Goltz-Murray Archives Building at Western Washington University, the Center for Pacific Northwest Studies houses and collects a broad range of archival records documenting the history of the Pacific Northwest region. The Center is a partner in the Washington Women's History Consortium, an initiative to encourage access to records documenting women's experiences and achievements in Washington State. Using grant funds awarded by the Washington State Legislature, the Center has processed and made available several archival collections relating to women's history, and has digitized a number of images and oral history interviews for online display.
