Description	June and Farrar Burn fixing their boat, the San Juanderer, for 100 days in the San Juans. Back caption reads: "I don't know what in heck we're doing. Posing mainly, I think. But my neighbor thinks this is exactly the sort of picture you want: so obviously 'doing' something. And in truth it was a professional newspaper photographer who posed it, so maybe my neighbor is right. Anyway it's Farrar and me rigging up a metal lifeboat for a long tour of the San Juan Islands, a lifelong dream come true (Except that in this dream, Farrar wasn't rowing this huge thing with 9 oars."
